Have you ever thought what a great thing the Internet is? Do you realize how it has changed our minds and understanding of the world we live in? Today you can do almost everything through the Internet: to chat with your friends and relatives who live far from you (and you even have an opportunity to see them, of course if you have a web-camera), you can freely establish business relations, conduct business negations and make money via the Internet, you can find a partner on the Internet and even buy products and things via it. Isn’t it wonderful and very useful?
It seems to me that the Internet has really changed us, our minds and even traditional train of thought. For example fifteen years ago if people needed new shoes they went to local shops or to the city centre or to some special shops where it was possible to buy shoes. But what do modern people do? The majority of them first of all turn to the Internet.
So I decided to make a small research and to find out how many sites offer to buy shoes online and what choice of goods do they offer. I wrote into a search engine only one word: “shoes” and it found for me thousands of sites, I didn’t even expect such a variety of choice! For example it found men’s & women’s shoe store where it was possible to buy shoes for all the family, or some sites that specialized only in men’s shoes like men’s cleats sale or only in women’s shoes like female comfort shoes free delivery. There were sites that offered work shoes deals as well or to shop weather proof boots cheap.
After looking through all these sites I came to conclusion that it’s really very timesaving and handy to buy things (not only shoes) ob the Internet, as it provides a great variety of choice, delivery and acceptable prices; and you can buy this or that thing sitting at home. As for me I think that’s great!

Not long ago, about two or three weeks, when I was returning home in a public transport I occasionally heard that one man standing next to me said to another man that “cars influence relations between spouses greatly”. The two men got off on the next bus stop but I could not stop thinking about this phrase.
We don’t have a car in our family, that’s why it was difficult for me to understand that expression for the first time, but an unexpected talk with my friend on this topic has cleared the meaning of this phrase for me. Eric, my friend, said to me that he quite often had quarrels with his wife because of the car: she didn’t like the fact that he spent a lot of weekends in the garage in stead of helping her about the house and playing with children; she often got angry because he spent about a half of his salary on spare parts for the car (though at the beginning of a month they planned to buy a new toaster or a set of spoons and forks); she usually said that the fact that he preferred for instance to buy suspension parts on sale or make car covers deals in stead of buying necessary things for the house made her very angry.
Eric revealed me a small secret that after his wife got tot know that he was going to make Nissan tuning (which wasn’t a necessity but just his desire) she didn’t talk to him for about three days. The same was with additional Fuzion discount tires.
So after a conversation with Eric I decided that we did very well without a car and we could easily continue to live without it.
Nearly a week ago we discussed this question with my wife and we came to conclusion that we would better buy a motorcycle in stead of a car, as it’s cheaper to buy and to repair (for example, if I need to shop for motorcycle seats I’ll spend less money than if I need to shop for car seats), it’s easier to care about and it’s not so complicated in use.
In general I think that we found a good way out from such a situation, because we think that our friendly relations are far more important!

Watch is a very pleasant and valuable present; it has always been taking a special place among the presents of crowned heads. Watches were given only to dear and beloved people and it was a symbol of respect and esteem. Such a gift has a deep philosophical sense: to give watches as a present means to give an opportunity to measure time and as a result to control it and manage your time.
If you have decided to present somebody with watches you should look through a great amount of watches to choose the best, because today there is a great variety of choice: so many companies produce watches but how one can understand which watch is the best? It’s really very difficult. To my mind it is more reasonable and easier to find watches on the Internet. Why? First of all you don’t need to visit a lot of shops where intrusive shop assistants will try to make you buy their products, so it will save your precious time, you can surf on the Internet sitting at home in a dressing gown and sipping tea or coffee and also nobody will foist on you things that you don’t like. To my mind good watches should meet all the requirements and preferences even of the most hard-to-please customers. They have to correspond to the main standards of quality:
” solidity;
” reliability in service;
” durability.
Nearly a week ago I was looking for watch that I wanted to buy as a present for my best friend who had her birthday. I managed to find a lot of sites that deserved my attention, for instance: Piaget watch for ridiculous prices or Pulsar watch deals. On these sites there was a broad range of goods, but I didn’t find a watch that my friend had seen in a shop and wanted to have (luckily I was near her at that moment and I knew for sure what watch she wanted). It took me about an hour and a half, but finally I managed to find authentic Omega timekeepers on sale exactly as she wanted. I bought them without any hesitation! And as I spent so much time on the Internet surfing from one site to another I certainly found something for myself - I managed to purchase a gold necklace that goes with my new dress!
I remained satisfied with my buyings that evening; and I think that though I spent quite a lot of time on the Internet I would spent much more visiting dozens of shops, so the Internet saved me at least three hours!

I’m sure you’ll agree that for majority of people repair is an awful thing that they try to postpone when it’s possible. I don’t know anybody who likes doing a repair, because it always takes a lot of time, forces and money. Don’t you think so? Frankly speaking, not long ago I had the same opinion about repair, but two weeks ago my attitude to this process changed abruptly owing to my friend.
Nearly three weeks ago I decided to change something in my flat; I came to conclusion that it would be better to start with lamps. And I asked my friend to help me as she is a good designer. We agreed that she would pick me up at 4 p.m. near my house. I wore the most comfortable shoes that I had as I thought that we would visit dozens of shops and at agreed time I was standing in the street waiting for my friend. Finally she drove up, stopped the engine and got out of the car. It looked like we didn’t go anywhere.
- “Everything we need is just your laptop” - she explained.
When we came into the house she said me that to her mind there was no need to spend a lot of time visiting a great number of shops because we had an access to “the greatest invention of the previous century - the Internet”.
Later I understood that she was right because we easily found sites where to purchase ceiling lights; and we found a site as well where I managed to buy novelty lamps. It took as about half an hour to choose all the things that I needed! I was impressed!
The rest of the evening we were pleasantly chatting, surfing on the Internet and I occasionally find a site with crosses tattoos designs (my younger sister was looking for this site for a long time), we were drinking tea and looking through my favourite photos. It was a great evening!
When my friend left I decided that from that evening I would try to save my time and money and buy all necessary things on the Internet!

To my mind the Internet is a wonderful thing to have. Don’t you think so? It provides a great variety of opportunities, possibilities and advantages for its users. Today we can hardly do without the Internet. At present it serves as a means of entertainment and receiving of news; it gives us opportunity to communicate with friends, relatives and acquaintances from different parts of the world; the Internet provides the opportunity to earn money; it facilitates and makes easier communication with our foreign business partners, it is the largest source of information and certainly it is a “great shop”!
Today we have an opportunity to save our precious time and some money as well buying things on the Internet. The Internet also gives possibilities to order goods from abroad that you can hardly buy in your own country. Isn’t it nice?
I, my friends and relatives use the Internet for buying things very often. For example nearly a month ago I and my sister decided to buy headphones and instead of going to the shop (it would take at least 30-40 minutes) we ordered them on the Internet; we received them in several hours, but during these hours we managed to clean the whole house!
My sister has also found ipod photo accessories discounts not long ago and she is going to order some.
My friend bought a Rovershot camera two weeks ago. He ordered it on the Internet after he had looked through a number of reviews and decided that he liked Rovershot camera reviews most of all. He said that the Internet helped him a lot in choosing his camera. He read a lot of forums with opinions of different people, looked through descriptions of cameras and certainly viewed reviews. So he made the beast choice!
Another two my friends, knowing that the Internet shops are very popular today ,became no minimum ipod dropshippers (dropshipper is a person who sells this or that product directly to people without the help of mediators) and now they make money via the Internet.
So as you see the Internet facilitates our lives and provides many opportunities and it’s up to you to use them or not!

I have my birthday in two weeks; and, as it happens every year, my friends and relatives have already started to ask me the same question:
- What do you want as a present?
This question always puzzles me, because when they ask me about a present it usually seems to me that I have everything that I wish, but when my birthday passes I always understand that I need this or that thing. That’s why for the last three years I practice to think in advance over the things I need and then tell my dear people.
This year I want to receive new watches, but at the same time I understand that they are quite expensive and I can not ask my friend to give me such a present. So I’ve told about this desire only to my parents. And they, to my great surprise, agreed to present me with watches; but they asked me to choose watches that I like on my own. We decided that it would be easier for all of us if I choose watches in one of the Internet shops and then send a link to my parents.
So yesterday I spend half of the day looking for different watches. I visited Accutron watches sale, a site where one can shop Hamilton lady wrist watch, several sites that offered to buy wrist watch bands, etc. I saw a lot of nice watches, but in all of them there was something that I didn’t like: in some cases it was a fastener, in others it was dial or wristlet. I didn’t manage to find watches that would have attracted me from the very moment I saw them. I got upset and started to surf on the Internet without any purposes; and occasionally I found a site with dangle earrings deals. As soon as I saw one pair of earrings I understood that my plans were changing!
In a few minutes I phoned my parents. And now I’m waiting for my birthday with great impatience, because I can not wait to receive my present!

What is the greatest invention of the XX century? If someone asked me this question I would certainly say that it’s the Internet. It is a wonderful thing that connects people from different parts of the world in one community, facilitates their communication, provides us with all kinds of information and news, gives possibilities to earn money, order various goods and so on. I can continue to enumerate all the advantages of the Internet, but it will take a lot of time.
My best friend is a loyal user of the Internet. Even her lover she decided to find there. She had a lot of ethnic dating services reviewed before she found one she liked, where she got acquainted with an Italian young man. They communicated for about four months; my friend said that they understood each other almost without words and finally he decided to visit her.
If you could only see my friend! She decided to make a small repair in her flat, to buy new clothes and to change her hairdo - everything for this unknown man. I couldn’t understand her; and I didn’t recognize her! She was convinced that she had to purchase strapless bras and buy Revision care products. She found some sites on the Internet where one can get Rioni handbags cheap where she ordered one for herself, also she discovered a site with women deodorant sale, etc. She spent much money on all these things. She was like a crazy!
And she understood it only when her Italian man arrived here. My friend was waiting for one man, but another man arrived. He disappointed her in all sides starting with ability to communicate and finishing with his appearance. And when he finally left she made a sigh of relief.
That day she decided that she would find a man in reality but on the Internet. But I also want to admit that a lot of people really find their dear people via the Internet, so if you want - you have to try it!

Probably you’ll be surprised to know that not long ago I was one of the opponents of cars; and not only because they spoil the environment and deprive thousands of people of lives every year, but also because they change the situation in family and relations between dear people. I have enough examples among my friends to come to such a conclusion.
And a conversation that I accidentally heard several months ago proves it. A wife of my acquaintance who is the best friend of my wife came to visit her, and I occasionally heard their talk. She said: “Oh, Jane! If you could only see expression of Peter’s eyes when he bought a car! I haven’t seen this expression since our wedding”. She said that Peter looked like a little child at that moment: he was so happy that it seemed to her that in a second he would clap his hands and laugh light-heartedly. And finally she made a conclusion: “So after George buys a car don’t be surprised if he says that he doesn’t have money to go to your favourite restaurant when it’s your birthday but at the same time he will buy different parts for his car like spark plugs or he will shop wheel tools or he will spend all his savings on car tuning“.
I had pretty the same opinion: cars change people and their lives, because they took a lot of time and money. I didn’t want to change something and I didn’t want my wife to suffer, that’s why I was against buying a car. I didn’t want to spend all weekends in a garage with car instead of my spending this time with my family, I didn’t want to spend my salary on discounted brake pads and other parts for car, I didn’t want to spend days desperately trying to find a brand new wheels sale, etc.
But nearly a week ago I found my wife reading cycle hot news. It was her idea to buy motorbikes for us. We have discussed it and came to conclusion that it’s the best solution to the problem. And in several days we are going to buy our motorbikes. I’m looking forward for this happy moment!

I have always been interested in making different researches and experiments. It’s like a hobby for me. For example not long ago I turned to my friends and acquaintances with one question: for purposes do you use the Internet. Answers were various; the majority of people use it for communication with friends, relatives and business partners, for buying different goods, for getting news and information, for making money, for entertainment, etc.
I personally use the Internet every day and can hardly imagine my life without it. Several days ago I wanted to buy new shoes and following to advice of my friend I decided to buy them on the Internet (as she says that it really saves time and money).
She gave me some sites, but before visiting these sites I made a small research. I opened one of popular search engines and wrote there one word “shoes”, without giving any details on what shoes I wanted. It found a great variety of brand sites like “shop birkenstock shoes“, “compare sperry shoes” or “Tsubo shoes bargains“. There were also sites where one can purchase shoes for wide feet; to my mind that’s great that there are such sites, because those people who have wide feet have a lot of problems with finding appropriate shoes and such sites can help them a lot. I found many sites with sports shoes as well. For example one of them offered to “discover running shoe clearance“. I like sports shoes very much, because they are very comfortable and practical, but that time I wanted to buy something else (in classic style). That’s why my attention was attracted by a site with a very original inscription: find just right shoes. When I visited this site I understood that it was what I really needed! I liked about five pairs of shoes that I saw on this site and it was very difficult to choose among them, but finally I did it and ordered my shoes.
During the last week I wear these shoes every evening and I’m satisfied with shoes I’ve bought! I really saved a lot of time, found interesting sites on the Internet and bought nice shoes. And now I’m going to buy all necessary things on the Internet, of course except those that need trying on.
