What do you usually talk about when you gather together with your friends or relatives? It seems to me that all of us have beloved themes for conversation. For instance my mother likes to talk about her plants (it’s her favourite topic), my best friend adores discussing the latest trends of fashion and everything connected with shopping, but for my cousin beloved theme for conversation is vehicles.
I visited my cousin two weeks ago. I stayed with him in his house about four hours and frankly speaking I got tired of discussing cars, motorcycles and bicycles. During all these hours he couldn’t stop talking about discount Mamba wheels and about BMW tuning that he had read about on the Internet. At first when we were drinking the first cup of coffee it was even interesting to listen to Bill (my cousin). But in two hours it had started to annoy me.
I got even angrier (though I didn’t show it), when my cousin said that a car of his wife had some problems with fuel system and offered me to look through some sites where it was possible to buy Audi fuel system. While he was looking for such a site I was sitting near him and yawning. It was very tiresome. When I decided to visit my cousin I didn’t think that he would spend time on the Internet when I would sit next to him. And occasionally he found a Suzuki tires shop online, he immediately tolled me that his friend was looking for these tires for a long time; after that he phoned this friend and they talked about 15 minutes! It was the last straw when my cousin decided to visit a site that offered Deflectors for sale. It was terrible! So in twenty minutes I said to my cousin that I had a meeting with a friend of mine in a cafe and left.
And now I don’t have desire to visit my cousin in the near future!
