Have you ever paid attention to how car owners care about their beloved autos? Sometimes when I see a man, carefully washing his car in such a way that one clearly sees all love and awe that he feels, I can not help laughing! It’s so childish and funny! From time to time it seems to me that men excessively fuss over their cars; but at the same time I believe that they really receive pleasure from the very process of care.

I have a friend who cares about his car exactly in such a way. Frankly speaking I don’t really like to invite him to my place or even somewhere in a supermarket; and even if I occasionally meet him in the street I usually say that I’m in a hurry or something like that. I have started to behave in such a way after one ill-fated evening.

That day (lets name my friend Peter) Peter came to my place. He spent with me about 3 hours and it was hours of torment for me, because during all that time he was talking only about his car and everything connected with it. He announced that he managed to make Bmw tuning, changed spark plugs in his auto, managed to buy cheap car care products, he bough cheap ATV tires as well and started to look for new seat covers for his beloved car; and all those things I had to listen to for more than 3 hours. It was awful even unbearable! I dreamt about the moment when he said:
- Oh, excuse me, my dear, but it’s high time to go home. (He always says the same phrase… LOL)

It was an endless evening for me and every time I tried to change the topic of our conversation he always managed to return to his favourite topic in about 2 or 3 minutes (he has a special gift for it). It was awful and very tiresome! Oh, I forgot to tell that he described me in all the details an online store that sells Avon tires. He depicted its design, range of the goods they offer, Avon tires prices for all types of tires and many other useless things that I wasn’t interested in.

When I reminded him that I didn’t have a car there was a pause for about half a minute and then he started to tell me about scooters (that time I had a scooter). It was quite close topic to cars, so he found a lot of “interesting” (as he thought) facts that I definitely had to know like where I could buy a scooter cover, cheap spare parts, a new air pump, good aerosol spray-on paint etc.

It was very annoying. I can hardly understand a person who can keep up conversation only on one topic. Such people are “handicapped” in some way; they even try to develop their personalities by the means of hobbies, useful books, scientific TV programs or interesting online articles. I feel pity for those people.

In the end I’d like to add that after Peter left I heaved a sigh of relief. My torment was ended.

In our life there are often question answers for which we want to know, but we can hardly find these answers. For instance I can not understand what has happened to my brother after he bought a car. It seems to me that he has lost any interest to his hobbies, friends, films, things that he loved before, etc. At present the only topic that provokes his interest is “cars”.

Several days ago I visited his place because I wanted to discuss what we were going to buy our parents for their 25th wedding anniversary, but he was so busy reading about tuned Audi and new on discount Fuzion tires online, that the only word he managed to say was: later. It made me angry but I managed to calm myself down and we didn’t quarrel.

Yesterday I occasionally heard him talking on the phone with an acquaintance. It was so boring!

Earlier my brother was a very sympathetic young man, he was an interesting person with whom you could discuss the latest international news or just talk about your problems.

Today we fail to understand each other, though everything was OK several months ago. It’s a pity that at present a question: “where to buy street bike controls and cheap tires” interests him more than my problems and thoughts. I have lost a loyal friend. But my friend says that in some time he will become the boy he used to be, because he’ll be tired with playing with his “toy” (as he names his car). I hope that he is right! And I’m waiting for this moment.

Well it seems to me that buying of a car can be compare to start keeping of a pet, because any car demands a lot of attention, care and love.

Nearly a year ago when I didn’t have a car one of my colleagues said such a phrase: “Cars influence your relations with dear people very much and sometimes they can even destroy your relations”. When I heard this phrase I didn’t understand it, it was impossible for me, but I really understood what my colleague meant when I bought a car nearly half a year ago.

It takes a lot of money every month and my wife is dissatisfied with this point. For example nearly three months ago we planed to buy a new set of tableware after I get my salary, but when I got the salary I had to buy new Fuel system parts for sale and purchase discount General tires, though we didn’t plan it (but I really need it). My wife was angry when I told her that I had spent on car that money that we planned to spent on tableware. She didn’t talked to me for about three days.

She dislikes that I buy different things for our car almost every month. Last month I found an online car care products store and bought some products for our car, also I made a Nissan tuning last month. And my wife finally said that I spent that money in waste, on trifles. She was angry again.

About two days ago I was surfing on the Internet without any particular aim and occasionally found a site about scooters. After reading this article I think over selling the car and buying a scooter. I’m going to talk on this topic with my wife.

In the end I’d like to add that now I really know that cars certainly influence relations between people and if you decide to have a car you should discuss with your beloved person what car to buy, for what price and how much money you are going to spend on it monthly; and only according to these points choose the most appropriate car.

For some people it may seem ridiculous but I think that men change greatly after they purchase cars! They are no longer the same. I can not explain these changes in their characters and styles of life but these changes really take place; it is a fact!

Take for example a good friend of mine. We have spent all our childhood and school years together, we have never had any secrets from one another. We could understand one another even without words! I really valued this friendship.

But something has changed after he had bought a car. At present he speaks with greater interest about brake systems store that he visited last Friday or about Volkswagen tuning for his car, but not about our common problems, interests or hobbies. I’m not against cars, NO! To my mind cars make our lives easier and more comfortable, but in my opinion they shouldn’t replace all spheres of men’s lives.

Frankly speaking it was quite interesting to learn some new facts about them: for example I had always thought that he bought spare parts for his car in special shops, but it turned out that there are interesting shops and auctions on the Internet, where you have an opportunity to buy the same parts cheaper and even order delivery to your place. He buys tires online as well and his beloved shop is Continental tires store. To my mind that’s great! It really saves your time; everything you need is just to find necessary replacement part and order it.

It was very nice to learn this fact, but in 30 minutes I got tired, as my friend was talking only about his car and a motorcycle of his brother (he even told me that his brother managed to find a good online store that offered discount motorcycle tires, though I wasn’t interested in this information at all) and every time when I tried to change topic he returned to this particular one. That’s why in an hour I got tired and lost any interest to our conversation; I lied that I had to visit my sister and left. It’s a pity but it seems to me that it’s an end to our good relations…

Not long ago, about two or three weeks, when I was returning home in a public transport I occasionally heard that one man standing next to me said to another man that “cars influence relations between spouses greatly”. The two men got off on the next bus stop but I could not stop thinking about this phrase.

We don’t have a car in our family, that’s why it was difficult for me to understand that expression for the first time, but an unexpected talk with my friend on this topic has cleared the meaning of this phrase for me. Eric, my friend, said to me that he quite often had quarrels with his wife because of the car: she didn’t like the fact that he spent a lot of weekends in the garage in stead of helping her about the house and playing with children; she often got angry because he spent about a half of his salary on spare parts for the car (though at the beginning of a month they planned to buy a new toaster or a set of spoons and forks); she usually said that the fact that he preferred for instance to buy suspension parts on sale or make car covers deals in stead of buying necessary things for the house made her very angry.

Eric revealed me a small secret that after his wife got tot know that he was going to make Nissan tuning (which wasn’t a necessity but just his desire) she didn’t talk to him for about three days. The same was with additional Fuzion discount tires.

So after a conversation with Eric I decided that we did very well without a car and we could easily continue to live without it.

Nearly a week ago we discussed this question with my wife and we came to conclusion that we would better buy a motorcycle in stead of a car, as it’s cheaper to buy and to repair (for example, if I need to shop for motorcycle seats I’ll spend less money than if I need to shop for car seats), it’s easier to care about and it’s not so complicated in use.

In general I think that we found a good way out from such a situation, because we think that our friendly relations are far more important!
